A retaining wall is a structure designed and constructed to resist the lateral pressure of soil, when there is a desired change in ground elevation that exceed the angle of repose of the soil.

·        The base thickness of the retaining wall varies from 700 to 750mm from the foundation level , and it’s height depend upon the ramp of the parking.
·        The thickness of the retaining wall becomes 300 to 350mm until it reaches the top.
·        At once, the shuttering height for the construction of wall is 2440 mm.
·        The rebar of 16 and 25 mm are used for the retaining wall.
·        Water proofing is done on outer side of the wall, using the AQUAGUARD 2G by the APPLE CHEMIE.
·        5 columns at distance of 11m are provided on the base of the ramp so as to maintain its stability
·        The joint between the retaining wall are joint by grouting with the EPOXY in the ratio of 1:10
·        Aqua guard flex is also used for water proofing in ratio of 1:1 (in powder form)
·        PCC 100mm thick at the base.

·        M25 grade concrete used for retaining.
