FIRE

“  Fire is the chemical reaction in which fuel ,oxygen and heat which produce flame is called as fire”.
CLASSIFICATION OF FIRE-
·        CLASS ‘A’-  Solid Fire  -  Wood
·        CLASS ‘B’-  Liquid Fire -  Petrol
·        CLASS ‘C’-  Gas Fire     -  Mithen
·        CLASS ‘D’ – Metal fire -  Magnesium
·        CLASS ‘E’ – Electrical fire
TYPES OF EXTINGUISHER
1.     Water type extinguisher.
2.     COtype extinguisher.
3.     DCP type extinguisher.
4.     Soda acid extinguisher.
5.     Fome type extinguisher.
CAUSES OF FIRE
·        Faulty electrical equipment or wiring.
·        Poor housekeeping.
·        Over loaded electrical system.
·        Over heating of equipment or servers.
·        Careless handling of fire like disposal cigarettes naked flamed, inflammable materials etc
·        Spontaneous combustion (sun / direct heat)

Fire fighting system has been designed as per NBC and by local Bylaws. If any areas is not covered by NBC, it shall be designed as per NFPA and local codes.

Fire Hydrant system shall cover the internal & external hydrants connected to the common fire Fighting through main hydrant lines. It is proposed to providing automatic sprinkler system for basement & all upper floors.
